We are a busy local food truck unit serving up delicious modern continental chicken recipes fresh juice made from locally grown fruits, and we need an experienced chef to join our energetic and dedicated team.

We are looking for someone with at least two years’ experience in cooking different styles and cuisines – everything from traditional to continental-inspired dishes.

You will have to work in a challenging and high-turnover environment. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and also able to work unsupervised and create results. You will also have to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.


  • Food preparation, inclusive of cooking, plating, presentation

  • Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies

  • Menu planning

  • Following food safety requirements

  • Set up workstations with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipment

  • Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

  • Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

  • Check the quality of ingredients

  • Come up with new and trendy recipes every now and then


  • Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware

  • Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, barbecuing, etc.)

  • Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Very good communication skills

  • Excellent physical condition and stamina

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma/Graduation from a culinary school will be an advantage
